Hi! I am a third year Development Studies student, and am currently writing my dissertation on volunteering.
I would really appreciate it if anyone who has volunteered in the past could take some time to fill out the following short questionnaire about your placement. It is an opportunity to share your experience, and have it counted in a study of the role gap year organisations play in development today.

That sounds like a really interesting idea. How did you find us, just out of interest? I'll try and encourage some of our past volunteers to answer your questionniare. It may also be a good idea for you to post the link on our Facebook group - Changing Worlds gap years.

Thank you. I have been really interested in volunteer organisations and the role they play in our knowledge and understanding of the 'third world', since i first volunteered in my gap year. Right now i can't even imagine having finished my dissertation! But i will get in touch with you when i do, and id be happy to send you a copy.
I've had a good response so far, but the more completed questionnaires the better, so thanks for letting me know about your facebook group.
