Hey I'm off to Kenya in Sept 2007 too So excited! I'm in Canada at the time of our pre-depature briefing though so I'm off to the one this month for those people going in April...I'll go and get excited with them all then come back and tell you what we'll be like soon! As for the fundraising, if you have a hobby try and use it. I'm organising a show through my dance school and hoping to raise a bit of money by selling tickets. If you go swimming or whatever get people to help you do a sponsored swim etc. Is it ok if I add you all on msn please? x

I will probs be taking my phone unless they tell us otherwise, you can also buy world top up cards just as you top ur phone up normally but have massive reduced rates on what you would pay abroad using your normal sim!
Oh yer...I think we should find somewhere cool with strange animals and pretty views and go on an adventure. Then we could send pics home to our families and make them jealous that they're in England doing the same thing they do every year and we're having loads of fun x

i was just wondering when everyone wanted their flights to come home?? i know a few people want to leave early (WHY!!!!!!!??) but those who are staying for 6 months.....
how about we stay for another month at the coast or something??
also, whats everyone doing about money?? i heard that the nationwide flex account debit card is the best thing to take abroad so im gona get that but cash-wise. i think we need ksh and us dollars which is at a really good exchange rate atm.

I'm gonna get my flight back for 6 months after we go. I think that we can decide to extend it when we're there if we want so thats what i'm going to do. Good idea about staying on after, i was thinking about doing that too!
