The placement in Dubai is wonderful for anybody wanting to go into outdoor education. You will be working alongside our rep Graham Malkin visiting international schools and designing and implementing Outdoor Adventure packages/expeditions for the students. The Gappers will then assist with taking school groups our into the "field (mountains, deserts, wadis and helping with adventure activities such as rock climbing camping, snorkeling and canoeing.
Ideally you need some previous Outdoor Adventure experience ie D of E. and an international driving license would be useful.
In your free tim there is loads to do in Dubai, learn to kitesurf or surf on the beaches or snowboard or ski at ski Dubai. dune bash in a 4x4, you can go hiking camping or to the cinema, bars or nightclubs. Or you can visit Oman and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. One hour from Dubai you can snorkel and dive and see reef sharks and turtles.
Dubai is a very safe city and very international.
