I started work a few days later at the zoo and I felt at ease straight away. Everyone there was great and I made some wonderful friends.
During my time at the zoo I had many jobs to do which included: prepare food for the animals, clean the exhibits, help the keepers with the talks, do the washing up and of course hold some fo the animals. I was lucky enough to give one of the animal talks on my own.
I was able to tell the koalas apart withtin the first couple of weeks, which i was very proud of. I also got to hold some snakes, which i had never done before.
I met some really wicked people and I hope I will keep in contact wiht them. Working with the animals was so good and I really enjoyed it.
