Hello David
India is amazing! It is all going really well. The weather has been great so far except today I experienced the first of the monsoon rains! It is a really good placement at the hospital though and I am really enjoying it. There is another volunteer out here from Canada till the end of october and another American is coming out on wednesday for about 6 weeks from what I can tell.
I have seen the other Changing Worlds people a few times but not to much. I think everyone is enjoying their placements too much to leave for a prolonged period of time! I have already been to Mamallapuram, which was beautiful, where I almost got roped into buying alot of stuff that I did not really want to buy but luckily I got away. Next weekend I am going to Pondicherry with the other volunteers at the Hospital and a trip to Ooty is in the pipeline!
I have not been too home sick bar the first week. The dreaded 4th week is coming up though! My time here is flying buy and it is all amazing!
