''The time had come for our final evening at 10x10 youth club. We had held a farewell sleepover with a few of the kids, but I knew it would be hard when we saw them for the last time. Many of the children had bought us roses, and it was evident that the love I had grown for these kids was shared all round as nearly every face in the room became tearful and sad. It felt as though after 3 months I had known these guys for a lifetime. I was a real part of their lives, as they have been a part of mine.
