Hi there, I'm not sure if I am going to India myself, but my old teacher from college has written a book for females going there fo r the first time. I read it on an ebook (much cheaper than the paperback!). I thought it was really good, and funny as well. I think if you google it you'll find it on the online bookshops but theres a site were you can read some of it for free. The book is called A girls guide to India, a survivor's handbook. Her name is Louise Wates. But on this site you can see some stuff for free.
